STRUCTURE

1. 1.Introductory statement giving the aim or goal

4. •This may be a paragraph.
   

5. •This may be left out of some procedures.

4. •Numbers can be used to show first, second, third and so on.
   

5. •The order is usually important.
   

6. •Words such as now, next, and after can be used.
   

7. •The steps usually begin with a command verb such as stir, add or
   drill.
